Blood Pregnancy Testing
If you are not satisfied with the results of a urine pregnancy test, you have the option of a blood test. The cost is $30. Please call 318-221-5500, or toll free 1-800-448-5004 to see when this service is available. Results will not be available until the next business day.

Counseling
The staff counselors at Hope Medical Group for Women believe that your abortion decision should be made with knowledge and confidence. Your visit starts with a private, individual session with one of our trained counselors. This session is tailored to meet your individual needs. The counseling session includes discussion of the reasons for your decision and any personal consequences, explanation of the procedure, and consideration of possible alternatives. Post-abortion counseling is also provided, including contraceptive counseling and discussion of aftercare instructions. If follow-up counseling is indicated, a referral is made near your home.
